No title

[V1]
Slump on my bed with eyelids pressed
Tried not to think, but you’re stuck in my head. [18]
You had me for nights, waking up scared.
Searching for skin, but you’re not there. [17]

[B]
They tell me, fight poison with poison,
but there's nothing as lethal as you.

Guess there's no antidote, I shouldn't have consume.

[C]
You said to be careful, I vaguely understood.
'Cause you put your toes in the water asking me if you should
take the plunge down, to see what’s beneath
even though the answer is darkness,
we still chose to sink.

[V2]Your bare skin under the sheets was the song of my Summer.
Yeah baby, [18]
A tune so addictive, could transform any girl into a dreamer. [17]

B/ They tell me, fight poison with poison, but there's nothing as lethal as you.
There seems to be no antidote, why did I consume.

C/ You said to be careful, I vaguely understood.
'Cause you put your toes in the water asking me if you should
take the plunge down, to see what’s beneath
And from that moment on,

you hold the key.

Tune/Sound

Dislike socializing? Maybe it boils down to just being - Lazy

Not too long ago, I decided to push myself to talk to people, especially new people because I wanted to hear their stories, their thoughts, perceptions and experiences. I thought everyone would interest me because everyone is different, right? However, I am still unable to go on and have second conversations with most of them. I know I can't just base on first impressions as many times it usually takes the second or even the third for you realise that they are actually pretty interesting. Unfortunately, I'm not the type to follow up, text you and dig further to see if there's anything. Unless we happen to meet again.

I credit it to being lazy. I rather do nothing than stay and pursue. And trust me when I say I do not feel superior than other people. The only reason why I am this way is because fake interest, smiles and false pretenses are just a waste of both sides energy. Or maybe I'm just unfriendly. Though I know that the above is still needed to get around this world but that's just another topic altogether.

So recently, I've been getting lazier, all thanks to Quora.

A fantastic platform that allows me to read about people's thoughts and views on topics that I'm interested in. It's been enlightening to read different perceptions to the same question and the endless of great things you can learn as well. Most ways people make friends would be having to get a contact with them first before finding out who they are. Like social events, people introducing you someone new or even using an app to find people, you can only base on the looks, demo and bio. Thus actually Quora should be a great platform to make friends because you know what their minds are like about certain topics so you kinda know them before knowing them. Probability of second conversations would be higher. Hmm, though that would diminish the element of mystery and chance.

Maybe one day I'll be bored with the repetition of questions and answers and go back to human interaction. But for today, I'm in Quora world.

The bus rides

Years ago I remember explaining to a friend that a life journey is like a bus ride.  The many stops, the random people boarding and alighting and the people who's taking the long journey with you. This relation popped into my head a few days ago and I have a slightly different perception now. A bus ride may not be your life journey but a part of it instead.

You can have more than one bus ride. Bus rides are the journey to your goals, the ride to your destination. You are at a bus stop and you board the bus that brings you to where you want. Sometimes when unsure, people at the stop could help you take the right bus. On that ride, some people get up and alight at different stops and some sit beside you through your journey.

Halfway if you realize you are on the wrong direction, you can get down and change the bus. Again you might leave some people behind but maybe some will come with you as well.

Having purpose and goals in life are important in that sense. Without them, you'll just be at the bus stop. Sure you will meet people there, some might be interesting and some who are unsure of what bus to take either will sit with you. However, do you really just want to stay at the bus stop.

But I'm only Human..

I can hold my breath
I can bite my tongue
I can stay awake for days
If that's what you want
